Jack Baker President, Oklahoma Historical Society About the film and its restoration Tuesday, November 7, 2017 - 3:30pm Miller Learning Center, Room 171 Guest speaker Jack Baker, former member of the Cherokee Nation council and current president of the Oklahoma Historical Society, will host a screening of The Daughter of Dawn, with a discussion to follow. The Daughter of Dawn, a 1920s silent film with an all-Indian cast, was thought lost for more than 90 years, but it was recently rediscovered and fully restored by OHS.
