University of Georgia Franklin College of Arts and Science Institute for Native American Studies has received a gift of $100,000 to recruit and support scholarships for Native American students at the university.

Fort Lewis College in Durango, CO has one of the largest Native American student populations of any university in the US thanks to a tuition waiver program.

Transmotion is a biannual open-access journal inspired by the work of Gerald Vizenor that publishes new scholarship focused on theoretical, experimental, postmodernist, and avant-garde writing by First Nations and Native American authors.
