UGA's Native American Student Association presents a series of events to raise awareness and provide information about the crisis of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls and Two Spirit at the close of Native American Heritage Month. Violence against indigenous women is at epic proportions, with over 1000 unsolved missing Indigenous Women cases in the US and murders of Native women that outpace that of any other ethnic group. This series of tabling, art, and activism events on the last day of November seeks to raise awareness and educate UGA's student body and the public about these crucial issues. For more information about MMIWG2S+ see Coalition to Stop Violence Against Native Women and Native Justice Coalition.
