Dr. Natalie M. Welch (she/her) is an assistant professor at Seattle University teaching marketing and working in the MBA in Sport and Entertainment Management program. She is an enrolled member of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians and grew up in Cherokee, North Carolina. She is an alumnus of the University of Tennessee (B.S. and PhD) and the University of Central Florida DeVos Sport Business Management program (MBA and MBSM). Natalie has over 5 years of professional experience working at Nike and Wieden+Kennedy and most recently the Indigenous Athletics Advancement Council. Natalie is passionate about advocating for Indigenous athletes and equity across all of sport.
