Book Launch for Spanish language ethnography of Indigenous Wounaan communities in Panama

Julie Velasquez Runk, of UGA Anthropology, Aura Reyes, of Instituto Colombiano de Antropología e History (ICANH) and Wounaan representatives will livestream the launch of the Spanish language publication of the ethnography, Los wounaan y la construcción de su paisaje: Identidad, arte y gobernanza ambiental en la frontera Panamá-Colombia.  President of the Wounaan National Congress, authority Chenier Carpio Opua and Dr. Runk will join in a conversation with anthropologist Aura Lisette Reyes about the book and its collaborative process.  The book launch will be at 4pm (EST) and hosted by the the press of the Colombian Institute of Anthropology and History (ICANH).
