INAS affiliated faculty member Ervan Garrison (Anthropology/Geology) will give a talk on the utility and processes of Archaeological Geology and Geophysics. Much of Dr. Garrison's work is related directly to the prehistory of the American Southeast and Native American populations and settlement patterns. Topics of the discussion will include the use of ground penetrating radar and magnetometry in mapping prehistoric human settlements and the interdisciplinary of sciences and the humanities.
