Native American Studies Study Abroad Opportunities!

Come learn with the National Student Exchange (NSE) program. NSE provides accessible collegiate study away to undergraduate students at 170 member colleges and universities in the United States, Canada, Guam, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. NSE allows students to experience a new location and culture, explore graduate school options, and expand their social and professional networks. There is also the option for students to continue paying in-state tuition while on exchange!

NSE offers unique opportunities for Native American Studies students to expand their learning through studying away at one of the partner universities with notable Native Studies programs. Students can even take Lakota language classes at the University of South Dakota or specialize in Alaska Native Studies at one of the 4 partner universities in Alaska!

Applications for Fall and Academic Year 2023 are due February 15th. Interested students can schedule an advising appointment with me to discuss the application process here.

Furthermore, if any of you all are interested hosting a short classroom presentation about NSE, I would love to come tell their students more about the program! Anyone interested in learning more or scheduling a classroom presentation can contact me at jordan.holmes@uga.edu.
