NASA astronaut Nicole Mann is set to become the first Native American woman in space, with a launch date no earlier than Oct. 3. 

NPR covers Justin Dupree's (Assiniboine/Lakota) efforts to fill gaps in Veteran care on Fort Peck Reservation in Montana. Dupree was diagnosed with PTSD after 17 years of service in the US Army. "My body was...the 'check engine' light came on," says Dupree.
